Maddie Ziegler and her younger sister Mackenzie are currently living out their wildest fantasies: after starring on Lifetime's hit reality show Dance Moms, the siblings have earned international fame thanks to Maddie's appearance in Sia's music videos for "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart," as well as Mackenzie's burgeoning pop career. During a recent visit to New York, the girls sat down with Billboard to discuss Dance Moms, working with Sia and the lifestyle of famous pre-teens:

"Before we started Dance Moms, we were like, 'We hope we get to do something cool, and be on Broadway or do TV shows,'" says Maddie. "Now this has happened, and it's just like a dream come true. It's so much fun."

Mackenzie adds, "There are people -- like, celebrities -- and they come up to us and they're like, 'Can we get a picture with you?' We're like, 'Well, we want to get a picture with you!'"

Maddie's profile over the past year has grown exponentially thanks to her magnetic routines in Sia's music videos -- "Chandelier," which is nominated for record of the year and song of the year at this year's Grammy awards, has collected nearly 500 million YouTube views with its official music video. Ziegler also appeared in the "Elastic Heart" clip, and performed the song alongside Sia on Saturday Night Live and Ellen.

"I never knew that I would be performing on talk shows with Sia," says Maddie, who adds that she gets recognize now more often for the video instead of Dance Moms. "It's just crazy getting to do all of the fun experiences I did. I thought it would just be a little video, just to have fun with it … but it was huge!"
