San Fermin Song Premiere: Listen To 'Jackrabbit' from New Album

Brooklyn-based baroque pop outfit San Fermin is coming back this spring with its sophomore album, Jackrabbit, and are previewing the new full-length with a handful of U.S. dates beginning next week. For the follow-up to the band's self-titled 2013 debut, San Fermin has turned into an eight-piece ensemble, after a majority of the songs existed on frontman Ellis Ludwig-Leone's laptop for nearly a year. Jackrabbit was produced by Peter Katis, best known for his work with Interpol and The National.

"'Jackrabbit' is the last song I wrote on this record," says Ludwig-Leone, "and it definitely sums up some themes I've been circling for a while now. It's fight-or-flight plus a marching band, which is basically my stance on everything."
