Justin Bieber Sued Over Alleged Hamptons Nightclub Scuffle
The lawsuit also alleges the club slipped the underage Bieber drinks.
Justin Bieber's name and "lawsuit" are in the same headline again, even if the singer didn't throw any punches (or eggs) this time.
According to TMZ, 22-year old Wayne Rennalls is suing Bieber over injuries sustained in a night club brawl last year in the Southampton, NY. Bieber didn't take part in the violence, but since Rennalls claims his assailants were on his payroll, the singer would potentially be responsible for the damages.
In addition to suing Bieber and his team for an unspecified amount, Rennalls is also accusing the South Pointe club for slipping drinks to Bieber, who at the time was 19 and underage.
A representative from Bieber's team gave no comment on the report.
Legal trouble is nothing new for the pop star these days. In Aug. 2014, a photographer sued Bieber and his bodyguard for allegedly beating him and destroying his camera in Hawaii.
In July 2014, Bieber paid over $80,000 in damages and was sentenced to two years of probation after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor vandalism charge for throwing eggs at a neighbor's home in Los Angeles.
In June 2014, the singer was sued for allegedly striking a pedestrian with his Ferrari on West Hollywood's Sunset Strip in June 2013.
