Watch Lorde, Ben Folds, Gotye & Skrillex Goof About in Triple J's Star-Studded Outtakes Video

Triple J’s all-star parody has a few laughs left in it. The Australian broadcaster last week released a funny short film in which the likes of Lorde, Ben Folds, Gotye, Skrillex and even Rick Astley were challenged to “write the ultimate Hottest 100 song.” Now, the broadcaster has released a compilation of the best bits which didn’t make the final edit.

In one sequence, Steve Aoki appears dazed and confused by the convivial atmosphere in the studio, while Hilltop Hoods' Suffa (Matthew Lambert) speaks for everyone when he declares, “well, we’ve made fools of ourselves.” Watch the clip below.

Triple J assembled some 40 homegrown and international artists, and set them a task to record a “theme song” for its annual song poll. It’s all for laughs and the musos get a chance to shine with their talents for timing and the art of self-deprecation. Watch the original clip below.
