Jaden Smith Releases New Album Through ‘Jaden Experience’ App
Kendall Jenner apparently approves of the Jaden's latest musical project.
On the same day that Jaden Smith and his younger sister Willow once again became social media fodder thanks to an outlandish joint interview with the New York Times, Jaden released a new album, CTV2, for free, via a new app amazingly titled “Jaden Experience.”
“I’ve Worked On This Album For Two Years And Kendall Likes it So Here,” is how the 16-year-old rapper and son of Will Smith released the project on Twitter on Monday night (Nov. 17). “Kendall,” of course, refers to Kendall Jenner.
On CTV2 songs like "Keep Ya Love," "Young & Reckless" and "Electric," Smith channels offbeat hip-hop artists like Odd Future, Young Thug and Azealia Banks while trying to establish his own flow. “I got the brains on my shoulder, I’m the oldest in class/You have A.D.D./Well, I can focus at last!” Smith declares on the jazzy track “Symba.”

On Halloween, Willow Smith released a four-song EP titled 3 as a free download. Last month the youngest Smith performed at the FADER Fort during the CMJ Music Marathon in New York City and brought out Jaden for “Whip My Hair” during the set.
"I have a goal to be just the most craziest person of all time,” Jaden announced in the New York Times interview. “And when I say craziest, I mean, like, I want to do like Olympic-level things. I want to be the most durable person on the planet."
