Fifth Harmony's Debut Album Delayed to January, Says Camila Cabello
UPDATE: A rep for Epic Records confirms that the album has been pushed back, and that the new release date is Jan. 27, 2015.
Fifth Harmony has once again pushed back the release of its debut album, Reflection, according to a Twitter post by one of the girl group's members, Camila Cabello, on Friday afternoon (Nov. 7). Reflection was originally announced with a Nov. 17 release date in August, which then shifted back to December. The new date, according to Cabello, is Jan. 26, 2015.
"We're so sorry, we love you endlessly," Cabello wrote to fans on Friday. "We're so lucky to have you and we'll make it up to you ... promise. JANUARY 26TH. #reflection"
A rep for Fifth Harmony's record label, Epic Records, did not immediately respond to Billboard's request for comment.
Last week, 5H released "Sledgehammer," the second single from Reflection, which was written by "All About That Bass" star Meghan Trainor. The album's lead single, "Bo$$," spent 15 weeks on the Hot 100 and peaked at No. 43.
Fifth Harmony spent much of 2014 on the road in support of Demi Lovato and Austin Mahone on separate tours. The group's first live performance of "Sledgehammer" will air on Good Morning America on Wednesday.
