Willow Smith Releases ‘3’ EP

One week after tearing up the FADER Fort with new music during the CMJ Music Marathon, Willow Smith has unleashed her new EP, 3, featuring a trio of new tracks and a collaboration with SZA. The EP is being offered as a free download for a limited time via Google Play.

The release finds Smith dabbling in the oddball R&B that she’s been showcasing over the past two years, now long removed from the pop days of “Whip My Hair.” 3 is also Smith’s first official release, and an album including “Whip My Hair” titled Knees & Elbows never materialized.

During the FADER Fort performance, Smith brought out SZA as well as her brother, Jaden Smith, who whipped his braids with vigor during a finale of “Whip My Hair.” Watch below:
