"Everybody wanna steal my girl, everybody wanna take her heart away," the group declares on their latest radio offering.

One Direction’s “Steal My Girl,” the first single from the group’s upcoming studio album Four, has leaked online a few hours ahead of its worldwide release on Monday (Sept. 29), and finds the boy band waxing rhapsodic about a special lady love they can claim as their own.

“I don’t exist if I don’t have her/The sun doesn’t shine, the world doesn’t turn,” 1D declares in the second verse of “Steal My Girl,” which sends the group further down the classic-rock rabbit hole they leapt into on last year’s Midnight Memories. With a twinkling piano line composing its backbone and handclaps complementing the bass line in the verses, “Steal My Girl” could be described as an “arena-rock anthem” if One Direction hadn’t already surpassed the arena circuit and earned stadium status.

Four, 1D’s fourth album, is due out on Nov. 17, with “Steal My Girl” hitting digital retailers today. The group’s Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne co-wrote the lead single with Ed Drewett, Wayne Hector, Julian Bunetta and John Ryan, who all had a hand in penning the group’s “Best Song Ever” last year.

Last week, One Direction fans became absolutely furious with The Daily Show for making an offhand remark about their beloved Brits. Directioners will probably be more affectionate toward the Today Show when One Direction rolls out Four with a live performance on the album’s Nov. 17 release date.
