“Habits (Stay High)” by Tove Lo keeps rising on the Hot 100 chart, reaching a new peak at No. 16 on last week’s tally, and the Swedish singer-songwriter is making the promotional rounds performing the track ahead of her debut album release next week. Watch her perform “Habits” on Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! below:

Rock a bare midriff and some spiky jewelry, Tove Lo shows off some fancy footwork while performing the track barefoot on the Kimmel stage. One has to admire a late-night network television performance that opens with the line, “I eat my dinner in my bathtub, then I go to sex clubs, watching freaky people getting it on.”

“I like the darker-vein kind of stuff,” the 26-year-old artist recently told Billboard about pop music. “I get excited when bands like Fun. and Lorde get to the top — especially with [Lorde], she writes personal stuff that really strikes you. It’s about her, and the voice, the lyrics, the minimal beat… There’s a rawness to it that I really love, when it’s not too polished.”

Lo’s spectacular debut album, Queen of the Clouds, is due out on Sept. 30. The singer will be headlining in the U.S. through October before joining Katy Perry for her Australian tour in late November.
