Macklemore Denies Tour Costume Was Jewish Stereotype

Macklemore has gotten in some hot water for a costume he wore during a performance on Friday night (May 16) that many have pointed out evokes Jewish stereotypes.

At the opening night of the "Spectacle: The Music Video" exhibition at the EMP Museum in Seattle, Macklemore performed to the hometown crowd while wearing a wig, fake beard and prosthetic nose. The "Thrift Shop" rapper reportedly made no reference to the getup during the performance.
