Fun.'s Jack Antonoff Hypes Side Project Bleachers with Advice Hotline

Jack Antonoff, best known as the guitarist and backing vocalist in fun., is now leading one of 2014's most promising new acts -- the similarly pop-rock-tinged outfit Bleachers. Antonoff knows that great music along with a clever marketing campaign can work wonders these days and in that spirit, he's unveiled a "Bleachers hotline" to promote his upcoming album.

Yesterday, Antonoff tweeted:

But this isn't Antonoff's personal cell. It's a number for what at first sounds like a generic doctor's office service line, but is actually an invitation to hear new Bleachers music and an oddly hilarious story from the musician.

Antonoff offers four options for callers. For option one, callers can leave a message for Bleachers. Option two leads to a thirty-second sample of a new Bleachers song called "Shadow." Option three features a child reading the new song's lyrics. And option four, arguably the best of all, leads to Antonoff telling a story about being punched by a clown.

Bleachers' debut album is expected this spring via RCA.
