Miley Cyrus shared with her 17.6 million Twitter followers on Tuesday night (Apr. 1) that her dog Floyd, an Alaskan klee kai, had passed away. Cyrus did not explain what had happened to her pooch, but said that the news made Tuesday "the 2nd worst day of my life."

"I don't wanna say it because I don't want it to be real... But my precious baby Floyd has passed away," Cyrus wrote. "I am broken."

The "Wrecking Ball" singer began posting pictures of Floyd online, and apologized to her Boston fans "if I am not myself tomorrow," when her Bangerz tour reaches the TD Garden on Wednesday night. She also posted an Instagram photo of a sad eye and of a P.F. Chang's fortune cookie slip of paper, which read, "Your love of life can carry you through any circumstance."

"I know I don't mean it but I wish he would've taken me with him," Cyrus continued. "This is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him?"

Cyrus' puppy Lila passed away in late 2012, prompting the pop superstar to post that she had "never been so hurt in my life." The singer owns four other pups, including a rescue dog named Mary Jane.
