Demi Lovato is in the midst of promoting "Neon Lights," the latest single from her "Demi" album, but the pop singer has taken a quick detour for the benefit of a Disney soundtrack. Lovato's version of "Let It Go," from the upcoming film "Frozen," was released online on Monday (Oct. 21).
"Let It Go," which will be performed in "Frozen" by voice actress/Broadway vet Idina Menzel, gets a pop-rock makeover befitting of Lovato's oeuvre, with guitar flourishes, orchestral punches and lyrics about triumphantly moving on. "Up here in the cold thin air, I finally can breathe/I know I left a life behind, but I'm too relieved to grieve," Lovato sings on the track.
