Twelve years and five albums after Britney Spears released an album titled "Britney," the pop superstar will release a full-length titled… "Britney Jean."
Britney Jean Spears confirmed the album title during an appearance on Capital FM on Tuesday morning (Oct. 15). The follow-up to 2011's "Femme Fatale" will hit stores on Dec. 3.
"It's a personal album," says Spears, "and all my family, they always call me Britney Jean -- it's like a term of endearment, and I just wanted to share that with my fans."
The singer's eighth studio effort has been preceded by the single "Work Bitch," which rises back to No. 13 on the current Hot 100 chart.
