Little Monsters and KatyCats have made their allegiances known, but what about you -- which pop opus do you absolutely need to hear?
Vote now in the poll below to tell us which fall pop album -- Katy Perry's "Prism" or Lady Gaga's "ARTPOP" -- you're most excited to hear!
Katy Perry's "Prism" follows the pop singer's 2010 album "Teenage Dream," which produced a record-tying five No. 1 singles ("California Gurls," "Teenage Dream," "Firework," "E.T." and "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)") while establishing Perry as a force within the genre. "Prism" will be led by the single "Roar," which will be released on Aug. 12 and has been teased by a pair of short videos hinting at a new beginning for the 28-year-old singer.
Meanwhile, "ARTPOP" marks Lady Gaga's studio return after 2011's "Born This Way" added more smash hits to her ever-growing catalog and took her around the globe on the Born This Way Ball tour. "Applause" will be the first single from "ARTPOP" -- which will be released along with an expansive new app -- and the song will reach fans on Aug. 19.
