Franz Ferdinand Release New Single, 'Right Action'

Scottish rock quartet Franz Ferdinand is back with its newest single from its forthcoming record, "Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action." The track, "Right Action," features the classic jangly strums found in old Franz Ferdinand cuts, but it's also packed with lo-fi crunch, sitars, and tight harmonies that bring us back to the "Summer of Love." The new album is the band's first release since 2009's "Tonight."

"Right Action" was premiered on BBC Radio One’s "Zane Lowe show" and will be paired with the track "Love illumination" for an iTunes and 7" vinyl release. The track was produced in London in only a day's time by Joe Goddard and Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip.
