Justin Bieber Fans Pounce on Black Keys Drummer Over Grammys Comment
Bieber (and his followers) react to Patrick Carney's remark about singer's lack of attention from The Grammys
Comments made by Black Keys' drummer Patrick Carney apparently made Justin Bieber's already-frustrating Grammy night a tad worse, and his fans are having a field day.
After the Grammy Awards on Sunday, TMZ caught up with Carney and asked if Bieber should feel burned for his lack of nominations or even an invitation to perform. He responded, "He's rich, right? Grammys are for, like, music, not for money ... and he's making a lot of money. He should be happy, I guess."
Upon hearing the news, Bieber fired back on Twitter to his 34 million followers:

First, Carney retweeted Bieber's remark with a sad face, before musing to his 91,500 followers that, "It's cool when you get cornered outside your hotel by a guy with a camera and they ask you a dumb question and then put it on TV. :(".
Since Bieber's tweet on Tuesday, the singer's army of loyal followers -- many with Belieber-fied user names like @HolyBieberSwag_ and @SwaggyBiebsfo -- have bombarded Carney with disapproving messages. Some echo Bieber:
Others go for personal attacks on the newlywed rocker:
And some go for the gut:
So, well done @patrickcarney, because of you, the Black Keys have fallen in the esteem of 34 million people ...— Swaggybiebs - Forum (@SwaggyBiebsfo) February 12, 2013
In the end, Carney is answering the windfall of snark with some of his own:
My twitter today has turned into a virtual Claire's Accessories.— Pat.r.ick (@patrickcarney) February 12, 2013
At the Grammys, Carney's band swept the major rock categories, capturing best rock song ("Lonely Boy"), rock album ("El Camino"), and best rock performance ("Lonely Boy").
