Will the Disney+ premiere of "Hamilton" send the cast album to new heights on the Billboard 200 chart?

Following the Disney+ premiere of Hamilton: An American Musical on July 3, could the show’s cast album soar back up the Billboard 200 chart next week? And if so, just how big will that post-premiere bump be?

Well, on the latest Billboard Pop Shop Podcast (listen below), the team dives into a discussion about the blockbuster musical’s Disney+ premiere, their experiences watching the show (both on Disney+ and live on stage), and just what kind of surge the cast album will get on next week’s Billboard 200. Will the album jump back into the top 10? Could the album, which was released in 2015, even rally past its so-far peak of No. 3 on the chart, earned back in June of 2016, after its big night at the Tony Awards?

And, if Hamilton does dance its way back up the chart, what kind of new chart records could it set? (It already has a ton under its belt.)

In addition to all things Hamilton, Pop Shop hosts Jason and Keith discuss big chart news from Lil Baby (and what he now has in common with Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross & The Supremes), Harry Styles and Jack Harlow.
