How does "ME!" stack up against the first tastes of Swift's first six LPs?

Welcome to the Billboard Chart Beat Podcast, where each week co-hosts Gary Trust and Trevor Anderson, from the Billboard charts department, discuss why what's on the charts … is on the charts, while also looking at current chart action in a historical context for even greater insights.

This week, we recap not only the Billboard Hot 100's top 10 as always, but the song that's new on the chart at … No. 100: Taylor Swift's "ME!," featuring Brendon Urie, the expected first single from her seventh proper LP, as the track debuts at the anchor spot based solely on its first three days of airplay. Next week, "ME!" is likely to challenge for the Hot 100's upper reaches, once its first week of streaming and sales is factored in.

In honor of the song's arrival, we look back at the first singles from each of Swift's first six albums, and how her sound has evolved.

Plus, we welcome very special guests The Rua, who are currently scaling Billboard's Adult Pop Songs airplay chart with their fourth hit on the tally, "Gasoline." The UK pop trio of siblings Alanna, Roseanna and Jonathan Brown discusses its music; Alanna's upcoming quandary of how to see the Spice Girls live in concert at London's Wembley Stadium the same night that The Rua is opening for Westlife at The O2; and each member's past as a Hogwarts student (via their roles in various Harry Potter movies).

The Rua wraps the podcast with an exclusive performance of three songs from its forthcoming sophomore album: "All I Ever Wanted," "I Will Learn" and "Gasoline."
