The Grammy Awards nominations are almost here -- and we’re breaking down the likely contenders for the 2019 ceremony in a special edition of the Billboard Pop Shop Podcast.

The nominations for the 61st Grammy Awards will be announced on Dec. 5, while the awards show itself will take place on Feb. 10.

On the latest episode of the show, the Pop Shop team breaks down the Grammy buzz around possible nominees, including Drake, Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Ella Mai, Shawn Mendes and even Cher! Listen below:

The Pop Shoppers chat about who will nab nominations in the big four categories: album of the year, record of the year, song of the year and best new artist. Plus, co-hosts Keith and Katie -- joined by special guest and former Pop Shop co-host Jason Lipshutz, Billboard’s editorial director -- review some possible nominees in other categories. Could Sting and Shaggy snare a best reggae album nod for their collaborative effort 44/876? Will Cher contend for the best dance/electronic album with her ABBA covers set Dancing Queen?

Also on the Pop Shop Podcast, Keith and Katie discuss chart news about Mumford & Sons scoring their third No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with Delta and Mariah Carey collecting her 18th top 10 album on the tally with her new studio set, Caution.
