Welcome to the new episode of the Billboard Pop Shop Podcast, your one-stop shop for all things pop on Billboard's weekly charts. In addition, you can always count on a lively discussion about the latest pop news, fun chart stats and stories, new music, and guest interviews with music stars and folks from the world of pop.

Casual pop fans and chart junkies can hear Billboard co-director of charts Keith Caulfield and Billboard deputy editor, digital Katie Atkinson every week on the Pop Shop Podcast, which can be streamed on Billboard.com or downloaded in iTunes. (Click here to listen to the previous Tuesday’s edition of the show on Billboard.com).

On the latest show (listen below), we preview the 2018 Tony Awards! The 72nd annual festivities will take place on Sunday at Radio City Music Hall in New York. The awards will be hosted by previous Tony nominees Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban and will air at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

Joining the Pop Shop for this special edition of the show is Billboard on Broadway podcast host Rebecca Milzoff. The Billboard senior editor chats about what she’s looking forward to seeing on the show and her thoughts on some of the year’s biggest snubs (including zero nominations for Escape to Margaritaville). Plus, Milzoff discusses her picks for what will win best musical and best revival of a musical.

Could the “quiet” and “heartbreaking” The Band’s Visit win for best musical over the big razzle-dazzle spectacles of Frozen, Mean Girls and SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical? And for best revival of a musical, will Once on This Island beat out the beloved My Fair Lady and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Carousel?

Also on the show, the Pop Shoppers discuss how Billboard is celebrating Pride Month with its Love Letters to the LGBTQ Community series, how Kanye West’s new Ye album is being received, Shawn Mendes’ debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with his new self-titled set, Selena Gomez’s 20th top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, and how Kim Wilde is back on the charts after nearly 25 years!
