Coming Around Again Podcast: Backstreet Boys' Self-Titled U.S. Debut Turns 20

Welcome back to the Coming Around Again podcast, part of the Pop Shop family, where host Andrew Unterberger and a variety of guests will be discussing notable anniversaries being celebrated in the music world.

This week, Billboard associate editor (and boy band expert) Taylor Weatherby stops by to discuss her excellent 20th anniversary oral history of Backstreet Boys' seminal self-titled U.S. debut LP. For the piece, Taylor talked to all five members of the group, tracing BSB from their days a minor Europe-only sensation ignored in the States, to a globe-conquering superpower who helped reshape pop music at the turn of the century.

On the podcast, Taylor discusses the process behind the oral history, and memories of BSB as a young pre-teen fan -- including favorite songs, videos and members. And of course, the ultimate question has to be answered: Backstreet or *NSYNC?

Listen below, and be sure to check back every week to see which classic artists, albums and songs are Coming Around Again.
