"I definitely feel happy that it's coming out on Inauguration Day," Cherry Glazerr's Clementine Creevy tells the Soul Sisters podcast about the band's new album, which just happens to be titled Apocalipstick

"Art is powerful. Art is gonna be resistance," she continues. "I feel very lucky to be a part of that message."

Creevy has a lot of powerful messages to impart on this episode, including her "political reasons" for no longer wearing makeup ("I would just love to be criticized for my art and my art only"), why she sometimes eschews clothing as well ("I love the social experiment of female nipples being exposed long enough to normalize them"), and the subtle art of peeing into a Starbucks cup -- which she did, in her tour van, en route to the podcast.
