The "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" singer talks holiday plans & 2017 New Year's resolutions.

Welcome to the new episode of the Billboard.com Pop Shop Podcast, Billboard's weekly audio breakdown of the Billboard charts, hottest music news and year's biggest musical events. Casual pop fans and chart junkies can hear Billboard co-director of charts Keith Caulfield and Billboard.com senior editor Katie Atkinson every Tuesday on the Pop Shop Podcast, which can be streamed on Billboard.com or downloaded in iTunes (click here to listen to the previous Tuesday’s edition of the show on Billboard.com).

It's the most wonderful Pop Shop Podcast of the year -- the holiday episode! And our very special guest is none other than legendary singer Darlene Love, whose song "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" is a yuletide classic.

We talked with Love about her holiday traditions, including getting her family all in one place and playing her annual string of Christmas shows (dates below), plus she shared some of her own favorite Christmas music. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer also chatted about how she got involved in the Oscar- and Grammy-winning documentary 20 Feet From Stardom and how E Street Band mainstay Steven Van Zandt helped bring her magnificent voice back to the forefront with her 2015 album Introducing Darlene Love.

If you want to check out one of Love's Christmas shows, she still has four on the schedule for 2016: Dec. 21 in Washington, D.C., Dec. 22 in York, Pennsylvania, and two dates at New York's B.B. King Blues Club on Dec. 23 and 26. Find all Love's upcoming tour dates on her website.

Not to put a damper on the Christmas joy, but we also address some sad news in the world of pop: Camila Cabello has left Fifth Harmony. Keith and Katie break down the shake-up, plus we get into chart chat about the new No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, J. Cole's 4 Your Eyez Only, and how the Billboard Hot 100 chart welcomes not one, but two debuts in the top 10 this week from Zayn and Taylor Swift and J. Cole.
