Pvris is destined for big things. The Massachusetts-based rock band built a formidable grassroots following behind its 2014 debut album White Noise, which put them on the 2015 Warped Tour and nabbed them an opening slot on Fall Out Boy’s current arena tour. An impromptu Periscope acoustic performance for Billboard recently attracted well over 3,000 viewers. As Kanye West would say, “Listen to the kids, bro!”

Right after their Periscope sesh, the members of Pvris -- Lynn Gunn, Alex Babinski, and Brian MacDonald -- sat down with host Chris Payne for an episode of the Alt In Our Stars podcast.

“We’re kind of hanging on by the skin of our teeth right now,” Gunn said. “I feel like everything’s ten steps ahead of us… I’m terrified but it’s a good scary.”

And it’s understandable. Pvris formed while its members were still in high school and none of them are currently older than 23. The band did its best to sum up its quick ascension and how it's managed to keep the momentum going during a grueling tour schedule.

“We’ve all got mini-keyboards and Logic on our computers,” Gunn says, referencing new music for their sophomore album. “We can’t say too much… but we are working on it.”
