The Alt In Our Stars Podcast: Meg Myers Opens Up on New Album, Childhood, Hipster Hats

“Almost finished, it’s really close," Meg says of her debut album 'Sorry.' "We’re wrapping up now. We’re mixing.”

Meg Myers' debut album is almost here. She's in a pre-coffee state when she stops by Billboard's New York office, but the excitement is clearly there. After a couple EPs, a bunch of videos, and turning heads with singles like "Desire" and "Sorry," Meg is about to unleash her first full length of electric cello-backed rockers, ragers, and…. vibey vibes?

Sorry is coming soon, and there's one new track Meg is particularly stoked on: "It's still got a poppy vibe to it, but it's one of the more artsy songs I've ever done… It's a little more out of the blue… It's a little vibey." Get all this and more on this week's Alt In Our Stars podcast:

She also speaks about where she's headed with her future videos, L.A. hipsters versus New York hipsters, and even opens up about coming to terms with her past: "I had a really rough childhood, but I'm on such good terms with everybody involved."
