The 2017 edition of the Eaux Claires Festival is packed with indie-rock and hip-hop heavyweights making their way to Wisconsin for the June 16-17 event, curated by Bon Iver's Justin Vernon and The National's Aaron Dessner. The official lineup was announced on Thursday (Feb. 9), a day after early ticket buyers received mailers with the run down (which they, of course, promptly posted on social media).

The third edition of the gathering will feature Vernon's outfit performing a set entitled "Bon Iver Presents John Prine and the American Songbook," which will find the band playing a selection of classic songs with the folk icon, as well as rock legend Paul Simon teaming up with acclaimed chamber music ensemble yMusic. The latter will premiere a new collaboration that will join songs from Simon's catalog with new, cutting-edge arrangements from the contemporary classical group.

Other acts on the roster include: Wilco, Tweedy, The Autumn Defense, Chance the Rapper, Danny Brown, Feist, Francis and the Lights, Julieta Venegas, Mouse on Mars, Perfume Genius, Spank Rock, Zebulon Pike and more. Sylvan Esso are also on the list, with the band's singer, Amelia Meath, scheduled to make a rare appearance with folk trio Mountain Man, marking the group's first performance in five years.

Set on a 60-acre plot on the banks of the Chippewa River, the grounds of the festival will be seeded with a variety of interactive art installations and mixed media pieces. Performances will take place on traditional stages, as well as hidden venues along the site's forested paths.
