Notes festival co-producer Dan Sheehan in a statement, “Adding Nas, one of the greatest hip-hop artists of all time, is an honor and shows how Cali Roots spans genres all rooted in one vibe.”

California Roots will launch its third artist rollout on January 10, 2017. Details regarding tickets are available at http://californiarootsfestival.com/tickets. The festival also introduced a special “Redwood Pass” in partnership with the Redwood Forest Foundation. Each pass secured the planting of two redwood trees. Since sold out, the limited Redwood Pass has resulted in the planting of 800 new redwoods.
