In the video clip above, Imani breaks down what it used to be like to make old-school mixtapes and comments on how social media has affected the music industry. “That shit changed the game,” he says.

"We’re like aged wine, you know what I mean,” he adds of the hip-hop group, which released its first album in the early ‘90s. “We had a chance at being in the game for a long time. We’ve seen trends come and go. We’ve seen artists come and go. We’ve seen people grow up and get old and give up on it. Through all that, we’re still here.”
