Nineties nostalgia is reaching a new inflection period, from Netflix's recent announcement to produce Full House sequel series Fuller House to the revival of the digital pet Tamagotchi (as an app) to the reunions of Jodeci and Blur.
And now, it's getting its own festival. On Sept. 12, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn's outdoor 50 Kent, the inaugural 90sFest will feature nine hours of performances and 90s-themed experiences (from 1 to 10 p.m. ET) with a lineup that includes Coolio, Lisa Loeb, Naughty By Nature, Smash Mouth, Tonic, the surviving members of Blind Melon and New York cover band Saved by the 90s with the Bayside Tigers. Bio Dome star and former MTV VJ Pauly Shore will host.
