Puerto Rican pop star Ricky Martin didn't hold back in a recent interview with People, in which he recalled his conversation on national television with Barbara Walters in 2000 that left him feeling violated and with "a little PTSD."
The moment that shook him was when the journalist suggested, "You could stop these rumors. You could say, 'Yes I am gay or no I'm not.'"
"When she dropped the question, I felt violated because I was just not ready to come out. I was very afraid," Martin told People for their second annual Pride issue, for which he graces the cover."There's a little PTSD with that."
