Puerto Rican stars Luis Fonsi and Rauw Alejandro premiered their nostalgic track titled "Vacío (Empty)" during the annual Premio Lo Nuestro on Thursday night (Feb. 18).

Dressed in all black and with little production, their performance seemed effortless yet touching. It's the first time the pair performs "Vacío," inspired by the 2001 Latin classic "A Puro Dolor."

Earlier this week, Billboard caught up with Fonsi who talked about his song. "It’s not a remake, it’s not a remix," he said. "It’s a new song that has these moments that you go, hey, what? Especially because there’s a new generation of people that haven’t heard ‘A Puro Dolor,’ or have heard it but can’t pinpoint it."

The 2021 Premio Lo Nuestro aired live from Miami’s AmericanAirlines Arena via Univision with Chiquinquirá Delgado, José Ron and Yuri as hosts of the three-hour show.
