2020 has been a challenging year for everyone, including those in the music industry. However, with the holiday season in full swing, many Latin artists are bringing cheer and joy to their fans with new Christmas songs and albums.
Thalia, for example, dropped her own rendition of Jose Feliciano’s classic “Feliz Navidad” and gave it her own electronic merengue-pop twist. Don Omar also came out to play with the tropical urban “Navidad Pa’ La Calle,” which samples El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico’s “Pa’ Fuera, Pa’ La Calle.” Camilo released his version of "5 Pa Las 12," which was originally recorded by Venezuelan artist Néstor Zavarce in 1963.
Meanwhile, Sebastián Yatra, Luis Fonsi, Danna Paola, Nacho, and many other Universal Music artists joined forces for the very festive album Feliz Christmas, Vol. 1, sharing newly recorded interpretations of timeless Christmas classics.
