During 2020 Billboard Latin Music Week, superstars Rosalía and Pharrell Williams come together for the highly anticipated panel Cultural Crossings, where they speak on transcending culture globally.
Moderated by Leila Cobo, VP/ Latin Industry Lead, Billboard, the pair talk about the new music they're working on, how they discovered each other's music and lifting up Latin women in the music industry.
"Now is an amazing opportunity for the Latin culture to lift the Latina," Pharrell says. Rosalía adds,"That's key. Give them opportunities and give them light. It's harder when you're a women and growth is more difficult for us. Men don't have to prove themselves. Meanwhile, women are always fighting to prove themselves when it's all very clear and it should be clear for everybody."
