For tracking purposes, all versions of "Relación" are combined together, including Sech's original solo version of the single. However, as the new remix largely powers the chart activity of the song, the artist credit has been adjusted to reflect the remix's guest artists.
“Relación's” ascent is powered by streaming activity and airplay. The song logged 8 million streams in the week ending Sept. 10 (up (up 107%), according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, and yields a No. 2 peak on Latin Streaming Songs.
Over on Latin Airplay, “Relación” lifts 10-3 boosted by a 59% increase (to 10 million) in audience impressions earned in the week ending Sept. 13.
“The first to jump on the remix was Balvin,” Sech muses. “I hit him up and asked him to listen to a section of the song. I was a bit hesitant, but I had heard Daddy Yankee liked the song, so I called Mayna, my publicist, and we both gave love to the situation. Then Flow said ‘I hear Farru there.’ Rosalia then arrived which closed the circle and I thought it was something beautiful.”
“Relación," which was produced by Dimelo Flow, Slow Mike and Cerebro, concurrently propels to No. 1 on Latin Digital Song Sales with 2,000 downloads sold in the week ending Sept. 10.
“I feel very grateful to be able to collaborate on this song by Sech,” Rosalía tells Bilboard. “I haven’t stopped listening to it since it came out and I love it. Likewise, I celebrate the message of power to women who are or have been involved in a toxic relationship; I hope many women will be able to sing it out loud!”
Over on the all-genre Hot 100 chart, “Relación” bows at No. 64. It’s Sech’s highest debut since his first chart entry in June 2019.
