Latin Music Week 2020: J Balvin & Deepak Chopra Confirmed for 'Mind & Music' Q&A

Latin superstar J Balvin and well-being pioneer Deepak Chopra are confirmed for a Q&A panel titled "Mind & Music: Finding Meaning and Fulfillment Through Mindfulness and Music" set to take place during the 2020 Billboard Latin Music Week.

Taking place virtually on its new dates October 20-23, Balvin and Chopra will discuss what meditation means to them, it’s connection to music, and why they decided to start a meditation program together. The candid conversation will also touch on the profound effects meditation has on mental health and how meditation has changed their lives.

Other confirmed superstar Q&A’s include conversations between Rosalia and Pharrell, Carlos Vives and Gustavo Dudamel, and Ozuna and Afo Verde. To reserve a spot and receive updates, RSVP here.

Back in June, the Colombian chart-topping artist and Chopra joined forces for a 21-day meditation experience titled Renew Yourself: Body, Mind & Spirit. The audio experience, in English and Spanish, features guided mediations, storytelling and self-care wisdom from Chopra and Balvin.

Balvin and Chopra are one of four conversations announced today that also include Rosalia and Pharrell; Ozuna and Sony Latin head Afo Verde; and Carlos Vives and Gustavo Dudamel. They join  Sech, Natanael Cano, Ozuna, Cazzu, Rauw Alejandro, Nicki Nicole and Camilo, among others, confirmed for this year's Latin Music Week, which was originally scheduled to take place April 20-23 in Las Vegas, NV and was postponed due to COVID-19.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary as the longest-running and biggest Latin music industry, the four-day immersive experience dedicated to Latin Music, culture and entertainment, will feature intimate artist conversations, industry panels, workshops and performances. Additional participants and schedule will be announced in the coming weeks. To reserve a spot and receive updates, RSVP here.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards 2020 will broadcast live on Oct. 21 via Telemundo, with awards to be given out in 59 categories honoring the top artists, songs, albums, labels, publishers, songwriters and producers of the year.
