From trap and reggaeton anthems to corridos tumbados, the genre-bending panelists confirmed for Billboard's two-part On the Rise panels are up-and-coming artists making music their own way.

Set to take place during this year's virtual Latin Music Week (Oct. 20-23), part one of the On the Rise panel, a spinoff of Billboard's On the Rise franchise which spotlights newcomers who are making waves in music, will feature panelists Mexican singer-songwriter Natanael Cano, ushering the trap-inspired corridos movement, Argentine trap rising star Nicki Nicole and Lunay, Jhay Cortez and Mariah Angeliq who are making a name for themselves in the urbano space.

Part two will feature Panamanian crooner Sech, Argentine trap sensation Cazzu, Colombian pop balladeer Camilo and chart-topper Rauw Alejandro.

The select group of artists are mostly all new to the charts and have often scored top 10s on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart within the last year.

Such is the case for Cano who picked up his first top 10 with "Amor Tumbado," which peaked at No. 8 in Feb. Cortez has two top 10s, "No Me Conoce" with J Balvin and Bad Bunny and "Como Se Siente" with Bunny, and Lunay made his top 10 debut in May thanks to "Soltera" with Daddy Yankee and Bunny.

This year, Colombian pop artist Camilo and Puerto Rican urban star Rauw Alejandro entered the Hot Latin Songs Top 10, with “Tattoo (Remix)” peaking at No. 8 on the chart dated Aug. 15, 2020. Panamanian reggaeton artist, Sech, had four top 10’s on the Hot Latin Songs chart, including “Otro Trago,” which hit No. 1 on the chart dated Aug. 10, 2019 for three weeks. Coined as Argentina’s trap queen, Cazzu also secured a spot on the chart with Khea’s 2018 “Loca (Remix)” in collaboration with Bad Bunny and Duki.

Meanwhile, Nicki Nicole's popularity translates into streams. To date, she has collected nearly 7 million on-demand U.S. audio streams, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. And newcomer Mariah Angeliq boasts of collaborations with Ñengo Flow, Anuel and Guaynaa all raking millions of views on YouTube.

The exact date and time for these two separate panels and other superstar panels will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
