Elvis Crespo enjoyed his 49th birthday weekend by social distancing at the beach -- and gifting fans with new music. Now, in celebration of his big day, Billboard wants to know: what's his best merengue song?

The Puerto Rican artist gained success in the mid-'90s when he joined Grupo Mania and later kicked off his prolific solo career in 1998; he's known for hits like “Suavemente,” “Tu Sonrisa” and “Pegaito Suavecito."

On the eve of his birthday, which is today (July 30), Crespo dropped the remix of his latest single “Imaginarme Sin Ti'' featuring reggaeton veterans RKM & Ken-Y and rising Dominican artist Manny Cruz, who collaborated on the original track. “Imaginarme Sin Ti,” released in March via Flash Music, is a feel-good merengue about a father who can’t imagine his life without his daughter.

The music video, filmed by Bobby Viera in Miami, tells the loving story of a dad who’s reminiscing about his daughter’s childhood on the day of her wedding day. Watch below.

Finally, in an Instagram video, Crespo he expressed that he’s very happy. “I’m grateful to God for the opportunities to live this moment,” he said.
