This year, electrocumbia artist Raymix and Spanish crooner Pablo Alboran came out as gay, assuring their fans that nothing has changed and they continue being the same but happier.

"I've been wanting to say this for a long time and I'm happy to finally be able to say it because it isn't easy," the Raymix explained on a video message posted June 5th. "I am freer and happier than ever. I will continue to take cumbia to different parts of the world."

On June 17, Alboran did the same, expressing that he wanted his voice to be louder and have more value and weight. “I’m here to tell you that I am homosexual and it’s okay. Life goes on, everything will remain the same, but I’m going to be a little happier than I already am.”

As Pride Month comes to an end, we round up some of our favorite social media posts from Latin acts who have celebrated the LGBTQ community throughout the month.

“Our hearts beat at different rhythms and different times, but together they create a wonderful symphony that fills this planet with love, freedom, and joy,” Thalia wrote on social media rocking a rainbow-colored two-piece. “Because, although we are all different, we are all one when it comes to defending the rights of the other. We are love and we are strength!”

Chiquis Rivera also shared a beautiful message about love on Instagram.

“Love is a language that we all understand and need! Love is universal. It is the force that moves the world. Love heals, rises and gives hope. It must be given and received, without judging or limiting it for the simple fact of not ‘understanding’... our duty is to RESPECT.”

Meanwhile, Ricky Martin and his husband, artist Jwan Yosef, celebrated Pride Month with a sweet photo of the couple kissing while wearing their masks.
