Mexican crooner Luis Miguel celebrates 51 years around the sun today (April 19), and we're commemorating the big day by highlighting some of his Billboard chart feats.

The famed Latin pop singer known as "El Sol de México (The Mexican Sun)," who has been performing since he was 12 years old and is known for achingly beautiful songs like "La Incondicional" and "Fría Como el Viento," boasts 1.2 billion career on-demand streams, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

He also takes the runner-up slot with 11 No. 1s on the Latin Pop Albums chart, trailing only Marco Antonio Solis, who leads with 12. Miguel's 1991 album Romance has spent a total of 164 weeks in the top 10 on the Latin Pop Albums chart, the fifth-longest ranking in the top 10.

Furthermore, he's placed 57 songs on the Hot Latin Songs chart; 39 of those hit the top 10 and 16 titles landed at No. 1, including classics like "Si Nos Dejan," which peaked at No. 1 for seven weeks, and "La Media Vuelta" spent three weeks up top.

The day before his birthday on Sunday (April 18), Luis Miguel: The Series returned for its second season via Netflix. Portrayed by Diego Boneta, the series highlights LuisMi's childhood, musical career, and the whereabouts of his missing mother, Marcela Basteri. Watch the trailer here.
