With the year almost coming to an end, it's safe to say that Daddy Yankee currently leads YouTube’s most-viewed music videos of 2019.
Although the Top 10 year-end global list is yet to be revealed, YouTube announced Tuesday (Nov. 19) that seven out of the 10 as of October 15 belong to or feature Latino artists. Yankee and Snow crown the list with their emoji-filled dance party “Con Calma,” followed by Rosalía and J Balvin’s sky-high “Con Altura” featuring El Guincho. Both videos have amassed more than 1 billion views since their release.
Further proving that Latin music is living its best life, other top most-viewed music videos include Anuel AA and Karol G’s “Secreto”; Anuel's “China” in collaboration with Yankee, Karol, Ozuna and J Balvin; and Jhay Cortez’s “No Me Conoce (Remix)” with Balvin and Bad Bunny. The Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello collab “Señorita” and Maluma’s colorful street video “HP” are also in the mix.
