Stress. It can be healthy, it can be harmful, but one thing’s for sure...it sucks!
The first Wednesday of November marks National Stress Awareness Day. Founded by Carole Spiers, chair of International Stress Management Association (ISMAUK), the day was created to “raise awareness about stress prevention and the importance for individuals and organizations in order to ensure that those who are suffering from stress know where to go to seek advice.” The organization’s main mission is to keep stress, mental health, and wellbeing on the national agenda.
Everything from a new job to a special day to family issues to financial problems can cause stress and let’s face it, being overwhelmed or having tension is not the best of feelings.
