J Balvin and Bad Bunny, “La Canción"

When we least expected it, Bad Bunny and J Balvin dropped their collab album Oasis in June, and it was the beginning of a new era for the reggaeton stars who keep surprising all of us with visuals for each song. The latest? “La Canción.”

On Monday (Oct. 14), both urban artists seized social media announcing the release of their video for “La Canción” (The Song). The video, directed by Colin Tilley, begins with a ghost looking for his girlfriend, who is alive and dancing with another man while Bad Bunny and J Balvin perform “La Canción.” The ghost interrupts their dance and pulls her to dance with him and remember the good times. The story is very emotional.

The urban singers appear on the video with paint on their faces and bodies and Balvin wears a crown of thorns.

“La Canción” is one of the most popular songs from Oasis, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart.
