Four dates in South America and Mexico have been announced for the tour, to kick off in Feb. 2020.

Soda Stereo members Charly Alberti and Zeta Bosio will pay homage to the famed Argentine rock band and its late frontman Gustavo Cerati with a 2020 tour to include appearances by Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Café Tacvba’s Rubén Albarrán, Juanes, Oscar-winning composer Gustavo Santaolalla and Cerati’s son Benito Cerati.

The band members broke the news with a statement to press that followed a cryptic video and emotive social media post earlier today (Oct. 3).

The Gracias Totales Tour is to kick off on Feb. 29, 2020 in Bogota, followed by dates in Santiago de Chile, Mexico City and Buenos Aires, where, it was announced, it will wrap up with a concert March 21 at the city’s Campo Argentino de Polo.

As guest vocalists Juanes, Aterciopelados’ Andrea Echeverri, Zoe vocalist León Larregui, Mon Laferete, Vanthra’s Fernando Ruiz Díaz and Babasónicos frontman Adrían Dárgelos are expected to perform Soda songs with Alberti, Bosio and musicians Ricahrd Coleman and Fabian Von Quintiero who played with the band in the past.

Soda Stereo's previous live show took place at Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Dec. 21, 2007.
