Flaunting his crisp bilingual vocals, Jay Ulloa premieres the music video for his newest single “Cold” exclusively on Billboard today (Sept. 24).

In collaboration with rising artist Eix, the Mexican-American singer and multi-instrumentalist sings about his heart being cold after breaking up with his girlfriend. “Como te pido perdon, cuando no fui suficiente,” he kicks off the track in Spanish, before singing, “I wish I would’ve known better, cause I probably would’ve done better" in English.

“Cold,” which brings to the table a fusion between urban-pop and EDM flairs, was produced by Karloff and written by both Ulloa and Eix, alongside Dayyon Alexander, Jeff Shum, and Dani Blau.

“I feel so blessed to be able to live my dream,” the 17-year-old says. “I am the eldest of six and my mission has always been to inspire them by showing them that everything is possible. As long as you believe it and do the work, you will always succeed.”

The music video, which was filmed in Los Angeles and features Dominican model Britney Vargas, was directed by Bawsee and produced by Roman Empire. The clip shows Ulloa singing the track as he’s on the mission of winning his ex back.
