After spending 46 weeks at the top, Ozuna was honored for most weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart (male).

Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, also known as Ozuna, has received four Guinness World Records 2020 titles, Billboard has learned. “More and more Latinos, especially Puerto Ricans are headlining the lists of world records,” says Ralph Hannah, Official Adjudicator of Guinness World Records in a press statement. “The passion and enthusiasm that characterizes these stars have seen them reach the top of our rankings.”

The Puerto Rican singer has been recognized with the Guinness World Records title for artist with the most videos to reach one billion views on YouTube (7) in Feb. 2019, the most Billboard Latin Music Award nominations for a single artist in a single year (23) on Feb. 12, 2019, and most Billboard Latin Music Award wins for a single artist in a single year (11) on April 25, 2019.

And, since his album debut Odisea topped Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart for 46 week from Sept. 16, 2017, through Sept. 1, 2018, Ozuna also achieved a title for most weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart (male).

Ozuna received his certificates and a copy of Guinness World Records 2020 during an official ceremony in his home country of Puerto Rico. “I feel honored to receive these [Guinness World Records] titles, which validates how hard we’ve been working for the past years,” the singer said.
