Maluma and J Balvin song is on the way, and their fans are very excited about the news.

Juan Luis Londoño (Maluma) and Jose Osorio Balvin (J Balvin) took to social media on Tuesday (Aug. 20) to share a photo together and announce that they are filming the music video for a new song, "Que Pena."

For months, both Colombian superstars have talked about the possibility of recording a song together. In 2018, J Balvin spoke with Billboard about his desire to work with Maluma, as his goal is to create a movement for the new generation of urban singers in Colombia. "If Maluma and I can support each other to start a movement and inspire others, we will do it," he said at the time.

After the announcement, fans flooded the artists' social media accounts with comments. "There isn't a more iconic duo," one fan wrote on Instagram. "This is perfect," another gushed.
