CNCO Is 'Feeling Grateful' After Winning Big at 2019 Teen Choice Awards

The 2019 Teen Choice Awards took place Sunday night (Aug.11) in Hermosa Beach, California, celebrating some of today’s hottest music and screen acts. 

Shawn Mendes, Lauren Jauregui, Taylor Swift, and BTS were among the big winners in the music categories. CNCO also won big, nabbing the awards in the two Latin categories. 

Winning choice Latin artist, Zabdiel de Jesus, Richard Camacho, Christopher Velez, Erick Brian Colon, and Joel Pimentel beat out their colleagues Bad Bunny, Becky G, Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, and Maluma in the same category.

Their bilingual summer smash “Pretend,” which they also performed at the show, also nabbed choice Latin song, winning over Ozuna’s “Baila Baila Baila,” Rosalia’s “Con Altura,” Daddy Yankee’s “Con Calma,” Bad Bunny’s “MIA,” and Nicky Jam’s “Te Robare.” 

On Instagram, the Latin boy band shared photos of their time at the awards show and a special message to fans after their wins. “Feeling grateful. Thank you Teen Choice and thank you to our team!! Thank you, CNCOwners, we love you!”
