Arthur Hanlon is taking his captivating piano ballads and instrumental Latin pop tunes on a U.S. and Latin American fall tour dubbed Gringo En La Habana.

“We start off in Fort Lauderdale, then New York, Washington D.C., L.A., Puerto Rico, a couple of days in Colombia and we’re adding more as we go,” he recently told Billboard. “I’ll be joined by my entire band, so I’m really excited.”

The Detroit-born, Miami-based pianist, songwriter, and arranger’s tour was inspired after his recent visit to Cuba, where he was filming a music video with Orishas for their forthcoming collaboration. His tour, according to an official statement, “is a celebration of the music of Cuba and Latin America via the experiences, hands, heart, and soul of an Irish-American piano virtuoso who has made a career of traveling, performing and recording throughout the Americas.”

Hanlon, who has a deep connection with Latin music and has collaborated with artists such as Ricardo Montaner, Ozuna, Chocquibtown, and most recently Fonseca in “Si Tu Te Vas,” will perform a Latin classic repertoire, reimagined and recast in his signature mix of pop, blues, and jazz.

Presented by ICM, the Gringo en la Habana tour kicks off in Colombian in September and continues to make way for the U.S., where the first show will be on Oct. 11 at the Amaturo Theater in Fort Lauderdale. More dates are expected to be announced soon.
