Indie publisher CTM is foraying into Latin music via a partnership with producers Play-N-Skillz.
The duo made up of siblings Juan ‘Play’ and Oscar ‘Skillz’ Salinas will step in as creative directors of CTM’s first Latin division and will be responsible for signing writers, producers and artists to CTM Latin.

“With our decade long multi-genre string of hits, our ears are not only trained, but proven to hear the next big thing and sound,” said Play-N-Skillz in a statement. The duo, which has a lengthy list of both Latin and non Latin hits most recently co-wrote and produced “Con calma” by Daddy Yankee and Snow. Play-N-Skillz are signed to Sony ATV, but will be able to sign and develop talent for CTM.

Music manager Steve Lobel, who manages Scott Storch and has worked with Play-N-Skillz for over a decade, will also be a shareholder in CTM Latin and will work with the talent Play-N-Skillz bring in to the company.

Based out of Amsterdam, CTM also has satellite offices in Los Angeles, Nashville, New York, Berlin, Stockholm, Brussels, London and Miami, from which Play-N-Skillz will be based when in town.
